Description
Large format 100% Linen kit canvas.
Our Linens, long fibers, are calendered after weaving.
These canvases are then prepared and glued in our workshop with the traditional « saber » method:
- 2 layers of skin glue
- 2 layers of Master Toiles® universal coating.
Skin glue is historically recognized for its preservative properties. Quality and specificity of Master Toiles® coating allow better paint grip to the canvas and improve colors quality.
The canvas is sanded between each layer to ensure a perfectly regular grain. Finally, Linen canvas is attached to the frame with tacks.
