Norma oil paint is particularly brilliant and lightfast.

Each specific shade requires a high concentration of pure pigments. These are carefully ground in a 3-roller rolling mill using traditional methods, then left to rest and mature for several months before being put into tubes to ensure the paint is perfectly homogenous.

The 84 oil colours in the Norma range are all miscible with each other, as well as with other oil paints. Using mediums in addition to these colours will open up a myriad of creative possibilities.

Schmincke is also particularly attentive to health and environmental protection. Norma-Professional oil paints have been designed with the environment in mind, taking into account both artistic and colour requirements.
